Upcoming Trail Runs
Squak Mountain 12K, Half-Marathon, Marathon and 50K Trail Run
April 14th, 2012 in Issaquah, Washington
Join us for a run at Squak Mountain, located next to Issaquah and a short drive from Seattle in Washington. Squak features cushy, well maintained trails, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains!
This forested park in the Pacific Northwest features miles of trails in wilderness solitude with glimpses of Issaquah below. There are several trail loop options on this 2,024-foot-high mountain.
We offer 12K, Half-Marathon (13.1 Mile), Marathon (26.3 Mile) and 50K course options (Register here). To celebrate Squak's steep ascent to the top (1,800 ft), we're creating a special prize "Race to the Top". The first person to reach the summit in each category will win a pair of Teko socks. Congrats to 2011 award winner Rick Heckenlaible for being the first to summit and win the 12k category too!
There will be plenty of aid stations and the courses are well marked. The courses start and finish at the main Squak Mountain Trailhead (see directions tab).
Looking forward to seeing you out there!

General
Read about how we keep the races green here.
We are dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors, and we encourage you to "leave no trace behind" by taking all trash with you. The park rangers always appreciate it when racers follow the marked course and keep the trails clean, and they are much more likely to grant permission for us to put on races at the same location if the trails are kept in good condition.
The trails will be open to other users during the event, hikers and on the first small lollipop loop equestrians as well. Please be courteous, you will unlikely encounter more than a few. Where the trails are narrow, please let other participants pass you if they want to get by. It is a passing runner's job to tell the person in front that they wish to pass.
For refunds/cancellations please see our policy.
