The Balanced Athlete Presents the Taylor Mt. 5 Mile, Half-Marathon, Marathon and 50K Trail Run
June 29, 2013 in Issaquah, Washington
The 5 Mile and Half-Marathon distances are full, there is a wait list, and only a couple of Marathon/50k spots remain.
Join us for a run at Taylor Mountain, located between Issaquah and Renton in Washington, just 40 minutes from Seattle and 25 minutes from Bellevue. Taylor Mountain is a trail runner's paradise in the Pacific Northwest with beautiful singletrack trails, lush forest, streams and views of Mt. Rainier!
We have teamed up with The Balanced Athlete in The Landing in Renton to bring you this event. The Balanced Athlete is a one stop shop for running gear, and nutrition. They will be raffling a pair of shoes and a pair of socks at each event they sponsor so don't miss out!
See here for pictures of the trails and view of the skyline. We offer 5 Mile, Half-Marathon (13.1 Mile), Marathon and 50K options. There will be plenty of aid stations and the courses are well marked with signs at intersections. The courses start and finish at the main Taylor Mountain Trailhead (see directions tab).
Looking forward to seeing you out there!

General
Read about how we keep the races green here.
We are dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors, and we encourage you to "leave no trace behind" by taking all trash with you. The park rangers always appreciate it when racers follow the marked course and keep the trails clean, and they are much more likely to grant permission for us to put on races at the same location if the trails are kept in good condition.
The trails will be open to other users during the event, hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. Please be courteous, you will unlikely encounter more than a few. Please let other participants pass you if they want to get by. It is a passing runner's job to tell the person in front that they wish to pass.
For refunds/cancellations please see our policy.
