Rock the Green Trail Run in Washington in the Pacific Northwest/NW

The Start/Finish area is right by the Green River Community College. The trails are part of Auburn Narrows Natural Area and features open meadows, wetlands, side channels of the Green River, and stands of beautiful, mature cottonwood floodplain forest. The course is non-technical and well maintained, an excellent place to use your minimalist shoes if you so desire.

We offer 5K and 10K options. There will be plenty of aid stations and the courses are well marked with signs at intersections. As always, there will be a good selection of grub at the Finish to fuel you up.

General

Read about how we keep the races green here.

We are dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors, and we encourage you to "leave no trace behind" by taking all trash with you. The park rangers always appreciate it when racers follow the marked course and keep the trails clean, and they are much more likely to grant permission for us to put on races at the same location if the trails are kept in good condition.

The trails will be open to other users during the event such as hikers and mountain bikers. Please be courteous, you will unlikely encounter more than a few. Please let other participants pass you if they want to get by. It is a passing runner's job to tell the person in front that they wish to pass.

For refunds/cancellations please see our policy.
