Suncadia • August 12, 2023 • 5K·Half marathon

August 12th 2023.

We love this event and are excited to once again be partnering with Suncadia Lodge to offer a destination race on the sunny side of the Cascades. This is a great opportunity to pack up the family and enjoy a weekend getaway. After the race, participants can enjoy a beer and wine garden as well as family-friendly activities to keep kids busy while you recover! While we are most excited about the gorgeous running trails, there are activities here for the whole family: swimming, hiking, biking, golfing and so much more!
Course distances offered for this race are 5K and half-marathon (13.1 miles).

Finisher swag

Every finisher at an Evergreen Trail Run event receives a piece of handmade finisher swag! We make our awards using solar power in Anacortes, Washington. 2024 swag is coming soon!

Race Notes:

While there are a few sections of rocky trail, with limited climbing and mostly smooth single track, this course is an excellent first-time trail run!

The Suncadia course is made up of two loops: a 5K and a 10M. The half-marathon runners will complete both loops, while the 5K runners will only run the smaller loop (duh). The courses will wind through the ponderosa pine forest, along historical mining sites, and along the steep hillside of the Cle Elum River. There will be two aid stations, one on each loop, and the course will be well-marked with signs at intersections. As always, there will be a good selection of grub at the finish to fuel you up.

The trails will be open to other users during the event, including equestrians, pedestrians, and cyclists. See our FAQ page for more information about sharing the trails
