Woodland Speeders

We believe kids should join in on the fun of trail running! That’s why we offer free kid’s races at all of our events.

Woodland Speeders Program

Kids of all ages are welcome to participate. Parents should use their best judgement as to whether or not to run with their kids. Parents are welcome to run with their kids of any age, but we recommend that kids 4 and under should always be escorted by a parent. The exception is Echo Valley, which is a bit harder and so we recommend that kids 6 and under be escorted by a parent.
Kids will receive a booklet at their first race. For each race they complete, they will receive a sticker to put in their booklet. Each race is associated with a different animal:

Lord Hill – Squirrel. Singletrack trail. Minimal elevation gain. 0.9 mile
Dash Point – Duck
