    5 Mile·Half Marathon·Full Marathon·50K

    Presented by:

Grand Ridge presented by Arc’teryx Seattle

This is the last race of the Evergreen trail-running season, and we will go out with a bang! There are lots of distance options to choose from – something for everyone: 5-mile, half-marathon, full marathon or 50K.

Grand Ridge Park is an incredible setting to finish off this year. Since 2000, the Washington Trails Association has been hard at work developing over seven miles of connected trail from old logging roads and user-built paths. It has all come together to create a beautiful system of trails that are ideal for running, hiking and biking.

    Woodland Speeders Kid’s Race

As part of our new Woodland Speeders program, we offer free kid’s races at all of our events. Parents are welcome to run with their kids. You can register your child during the registration process for your own race or sign them up later. The course at Grand Ridge is a crushed gravel trail, with little elevation gain and is 1.1 mile long. See below for map.

Evergreen Trail Runs acknowledges that the Grand Ridge Trail race takes place on the Indigenous Land of Coast Salish peoples who have reserved treaty rights to this land, specifically the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe (sdukʷalbixʷ). We thank these caretakers of this land who have lived and continue to live here since time immemorial.

    We Welcome All

Committed to Making All Feel Welcome

Evergreen Trail Runs is making a new effort to make sure that everyone feels welcome and safe at our running events and in our trail running community. There is space for all on the trails. We have a non-binary registration option and a non-binary category for overall awards.

If you have a suggestion or idea for how we can improve our events in this regard, please let us know!

    Race Notes:

The course is two distinct loops: one loop for the 5-mile run and another half-marathon(ish) loop for the longer distances. Marathon runners will do two loops of the half-marathon course, and 50K runners will do two half-marathon loops and then one 5-mile loop. We probably should note that the half-marathon loop is closer to 14 miles than 13 miles (gotta make up for those other missed races!)

The trails will be open to other users during the event, including pedestrians and cyclists. See our FAQ page for more information about sharing the trails.

The aid stations are stocked with water, Tailwind, Clif product, PBJ sandwiches, fruit, cookies, crackers and pretzels. As always, but a bit different as a volunteer with assist you in getting your snacks one participant at a time. We encourage you to bring your own food and snacks to better facilitate social distances at aid stations.

    Cupless Races

This is a cupless race. All runners should carry with them a refillable container that they can run with. There will be a limited number of cups for emergency situations.
